About Hohum Lab

Who is Hohum Lab?
We are a small home based laboratory in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We design and produce cool music gears and DIY projects.
I want to start a collaboration with Hohum Lab.
We are always happy and enthusiastic to listen new ideas about new products, events, workshops and collaborations.

Technical and assembling information

Where do I find instructions to assembly my item?
We have a specific section for this. You can visit the workshop page. There you will find everything you need. If you have further questions don’t hesitate to drop us an email.
Where do I find manuals for my item?
Please visit the workshop page. For every gear you will find a specific manual.
I have trouble with functioning of my gear, what can I do?
We fully test products and components before packing. An issue can always happen. If this is the case, don’t hesitate to contact us for any support you might need. Please send us an email at where you describe your issues. Remember to include some photos or video so that we can understand your problem and hopefully solve it.
I received my gear but I think some parts are missing, what shall I do?
We always hope that this will not happen, but if it is we apologise for any inaccuracies. If any part is missing, then email us with details and we will ship them to you as quickly as possible. Remember always to double check the BOM online on the product page first.

What payment methods do you accept?
We only accept Paypal payments.
Where do you ship to?
We are shipping worldwide with DHL Parcel.
How much is the shipping cost?

The Netherlands: 6 Euro

Europe Zone 1: 12 Euro (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom)

Europe Zone 2: 16 Euro (Aland islands, Albania, Andorra, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine)

Rest of the world: 24,30 Euro

How long does the shipping take?

We are shipping items with DHL Parcel and these are their approximately shipping time:

European Union: between 2-5 business days.

Rest of the world: around 11 business days. The delivery time excludes times needed for customer declaration inspection at the douane.

My order shipped X days ago but I haven't received it yet. Where is it?
When your order is shipped, you will receive the tracking number to the email you gave us when you placed the order. Make sure the email is correct and check your spam folder too. If you did not receive a tracking number, email us at with the order details (date, name on order and order number) and we will get back to you as soon as possible with the tracking number so that you can follow your shipping.

By our experience, orders outside European Union can take 2 weeks or more, usually due to douane controls. Just have a little bit of patience and don’t worry: if you have the tracking number it means that your item is in transit and you will receive it.

How do I return my item?
If you want to return your item, send us an email and we will give you instructions. Remember that you can only return unopened items, kits and pre-built hardware purchases. Returned purchases must be in new condition with all accessories, documentation and packaging. You will have to pay shipments to return your item.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 30 days. If you are shipping an item over Euro 75, we suggest you to use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
